Cavern diving course is usually an extension to the open water diving course. The instructors will briefly talk about the various cave environments in the first few sessions before they move to the core part of cavern diving. The course is very similar to the open water diving course that you might have attended previously.

The cavern diver course will help you learn to use the cavern diving equipments such as lights and the safety reel effectively. As a cavern diver, you will have to carry a couple of lights including one that is tubular in shape. The use of redundant breathing systems and following of the important guidelines will be covered in depth as a part of the course training. During the course, you will also get to use double tanks at the advice of your instructor. The danger of scuba diving exists in all departments of scuba diving. Requirements for the course

The minimum age for qualification is 18 years of age or more. An advanced open water diving certificate will also be an automatic qualification for this course.
