The scuba buoyancy compensator also known as the buoyancy compensation device (BCD), is essential for any diver in maintaining a neutral buoyant state during deep sea diving. The buoyancy compensators are available from quite a few manufacturers at varying price ranges.

When getting yourself a BCD, look at technical specifications carefully. Avail a device that is comfortable on you and can provide the necessary buoyancy for the depths that you wish to dive to. Advanced devices have features like single or double tanks, ability to transfer buoyant lift from the rear to front and vice versa, additional pockets and special material housing.
