The most important aspect for a SCUBA diver is his safety. SCUBA safety can be enhanced by the use of the SCUBA safety gear. Of course, all divers need to ensure they have well operating wet suits, masks, regulators, depth gauges, snorkels and all other basic piece of equipment required for a dive. However, there are additional pieces of equipment to consider. For example, whistle, bright colored float, a pony tank, and other similar items should be considered. In particular, if you dive with your buddy on shore dives or un-directed boat dives, consider arming yourself with a few extra safety items before your next dive. |
