The scuba weights and belts enable the divers to offset the positive buoyancy of the divers body. The weights let you descend under water without sinking. The scuba weight systems are made of nylon material with solid weighs sliding on and off the belt. The weights comprise of bags filled with pieces of lead shots. The buoyancy control is achieved in two ways. One is the use of weight belt and the other is integrating weights within the buoyancy control device which is more preferred as the need to carry a separate belt is eliminated. The weight systems come with the quick release feature which enables you to drop enough weights to float consistently. Another feature provided is that of reliable buckles which make sure the weights are not dropped accidentally. |
